Why laser beats the alternatives here
A wire wheel or flap disc removes rust and metal together, and rounds off edges. Sandblasting is fast but abrasive, fills the workspace with contaminated grit, and struggles on thin or detailed parts. Acid converters are messy, slow and hazardous to store and dispose of.
